| Please help the Farm | | | | Make a donation: | We rely heavily on the support and goodwill of local residents, volunteers and donors. Our recent success on ITV's Peoples Millions does not mean we are rich! We are still in desperate need of money for feeding the animals, the upkeep of the buildings, boring things like telephone bills and stamps and other little things that keep the farm running. For example: Monthly materials for our Young Farmer's club cost arround £60 which includes Seeds, Compost & Bulbs, Wellington boots & Rain Coats. Please click here or on the button below to go to our secure online donation page provided by "Just Giving". All your donations, however small, will help keep the farm running and open to visitors, schools and the the local community. If you have an odd £1.5 million knocking around then we will gladly make good use of this replacing our fire damaged classroom and office !!! | | | | Volunteer your time: | We are always looking for skilled volunteers. There are opportunities to volunteer with our animal care, education and training projects. Please see our Training Projects and School Visits sections for more information. If you'd like to volunteer at the farm please call Barry Mason on 020 72311010 or send an email to

| | | | Corporate volunteers: | Are you fed up with paint balling and making river rafts? Why not come and do some work at Surrey Docks Farm for your away day. We have lots of projects that need manpower and a bit of money. Things that need doing on the farm get done, you get an exceptional team building opportunity and everyone goes home tired but happy. We can organise the day for you or why not ask Volunteer Centre Southwark to do this for you. Charges are around £900 per day for a group of 30 volunteers. | | | | Goat Mountain - built by volunteers from Deutsche Bank | | | | | The Barclays Capital Volunteer Team | | | | | The farm owes a huge debt of gratitude to EDF Energy. Their apprentices have come to the farm over the last 6 months and virtually rewired the whole place. This is an excellent example of a ‘win/win’ project. The apprentices have gained experience of a live, complex project and the farm has had thousands of pounds of work done for free. So thank you EDF and your ‘helping hands’ programme. You are doing such good work in the community. Well done boys! | |
