During the week the River Room is used as our classroom space for local primary schools, so it’s fully equipped with children’s tables and chairs. When you arrive the children’s tables will be stacked to one side to be used as you wish. We also have six large trestle tables and adult chairs available.

We strongly encourage you to come and take a look at the room before making a booking so we can show you the space. We are open 7 days a week from 10am-4pm and if you ask in the Farm Shop, someone should be able to show you the space.

Over the weekends the room is available to hire on Saturday and Sundays from 11am – 3pm for a fee of £175. The hire period includes set-up and clearing away time and we ask for an additional refundable deposit. We’re not able to offer any extension to the hire period.

We leave the format of the party up to you. If you’d like to bring in a professional entertainer we do have some restrictions, so please read our FAQs and check the Terms & Conditions carefully before booking!

We offer a private Meet The Small Animals session for parties. This can vary depending on the animals, but we aim to include rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and a chicken. We set up a private outdoor space, for your participants to touch and stroke the animals and get up close to them. This would cost £40 for 20 minutes and would need to start at 12pm. Please note, as we’ll rely on volunteer support to handle all the animals and it’s weather dependent, this activity can only be confirmed on the day. Come to the farm shop for 10:45am and we’ll confirm if it’s possible and take payment then.

Alternatively your party are welcome to explore the Farm for free (which is open from 10am-4pm every day) and we sell animal feed bags for £1 from the farm shop which can be fed to most animals.
