Watering Volunteer
We have paused watering volunteer recruitment now for the autumn/winter, but please check back in April/May, as we will be restarting it then!
What’s involved
Volunteers will work across all the growing spaces on the Farm, depending on the weather and needs of the plants. A full induction will be given to the role, as well as a weekly check-in of which areas need prioritising that day. Aside from this, the role is an independent one. Watering is done in the mornings, with slots running from 9:30am-11am.
Please be aware – volunteers will be working across the busy, public farm site and must be able to follow instructions to work independently and safely in a relatively high risk environment.
We require watering volunteers to be able to commit to a weekly slot for at least 1 month in order for us to cover the hydration needs of our green spaces! If you are unable to meet this commitment, please keep an eye out for other opportunities!
